Adopt-A-Road
Adopting a city or county maintained roadway enables our community to remain beautiful plus gives you as an individual or group a sense of pride and ownership in your community. This program is easy to implement and not overly time consuming. Groups who clean their roadway a minimum of 3 times a year are eligible for recognition signs at each end of their "mile". All you have to do is follow the instruction below to enable the Clean Commission and government employees to serve you better.
- Call the Clean Commission office at 537-3278 one week prior to your clean-up to report the clean-up date. This allows the Clean Commission ample time to arrange for trash removal and supplies you may need to be delivered. We will supply you with bags, gloves and vests.
- After the clean-up please email us or call us with the following information: number of volunteers, number of hours per volunteer and number or trash bags collected.
- Participants must be at least 12 years of age and accompanied by an adult during the clean-up.
- The group must read safety guide lines prior to your first pick-up.
