JANUARY- New Board Education & Training.

FEBRUARY - Membership Drive.  All new members are appreciated.

MARCH - Begin Great American Cleanup/Putnam Pride Days community clean-up.  Volunteers are needed to assist us in ridding our highways and byways of unsightly litter. It's more than picking it up -- prevention is the key.
Upper Cumberland Home & Garden Show
Spring Cleaning
Property Enhancement Awards, for residential and business property.  March through August.  Nomination deadlines by the first for the current month. Call or email nominations.

APRIL - Window on the World at TTU
NatureFest
Earth Day Celebrations
Dogapalooza,
a litter-free event.

MAY- 2012 E-Waste Collection Event.  TBA  Bring anything that plugs in to be recycled.  Computers, telephones, vacuum cleaners, etc.

JUNE - YARD SALE - June - TBA.  Fundraiser for the Clean Commission.  All kinds of things for sale.  515 E. Broad St. parking lot. 
Telephone Book Recycling Drive.  Each family with a landline receives 4.5 pounds of phone books each year.  Please recycle old phone books in the recycling bins at Convenience Centers labeled "newspaper & magazines."

AUGUST-  Putnam County Fair

SEPTEMBER - CityScape's Fall FunFest, a litter-free event.
Tennessee Tech Volunteer Fair
Property of the Year
is announced.

OCTOBER -  Bark in the Park, Friends of Animals, a litter-free event
Cooking on the Square, a litter-free event
Household Hazardous Waste Day at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.  TBA.  Businesses can participate by appointment only.  Call 931-537-3278 for details.

NOVEMBER15:  America Recycles Day, various activities

DECEMBER:  Cookeville Christmas Parade, a litter-free event.
