April: Putnam Pride Days community clean-up. Volunteers are needed to assist us in ridding our highways and byways of unsightly litter. It's more than picking it up, it's prevention that is the key.

September : Mobile Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Putnam County Fair Grounds. Date TBA in late-July.
October: Property of the Year is announced.
