Serving on the board will increase my own awareness of the needs of our environment, and will also give me the opportunity to help educate and encourage other small businesses and individuals as well.

Clean Commission

My personal mission is to be of assistance in the fulfillment of the Cookeville-Putnam County Clean Commission's goals, objectives and overall mission.

My mission for being a part of this "Commission" is to teach, and show others that taking care of our area and the planet is our social responsibility to safeguard our natural resources for future generations.

As a recent resident to Tennessee and especially Cookeville I love this part of the country and feel it is imperative we protect it.

The opportunity exists for our community to improve the visual quality of our local landscape through education and practice of litter prevention, recycling, and proper solid waste management.  The greater and often unseen benefit of these efforts is the improved health of our native landscapes, wildlife and watersheds.
